Over the course of two seasons, Din Djarin comes to deeply care for the Force-sensitive Grogu. Initially dubbed Baby Yoda by fans, the would-be Jedi was originally a bounty mark for Mando, but the tiny creature immediately had an effect on the stoic gunslinger. Din saved Grogu's life from the droid assassin IG-11 and then rescued him from the Imperial remnants that placed the original boun

The team of Din and Grogu would come to a temporary end in Season 2, when Din had to make the hard decision to let Grogu go with Jedi Luke Skywalker so he could receive proper training in the use of the Force. Before he said goodbye to his traveling companion, Din took off his helmet so Grogu could see his face, going against everything Din had been taught as a foundling of a Mandalorian clan.

The bond between Din and Grogu is very strong, so of course Mando had to check up on the little Jedi-to-be during The Book of Boba Fett. Eventually, Grogu made the decision to leave his training and return to be with Din, setting up their continuing adventures in Season 3 of The Mandalorian. While not many details have been confirmed about the new season, Din and Grogu will assuredly have more adventures together.

Pascal can next be seen in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, premiering April 22. The actor is also taking on the role of Joel Miller for HBO's The Last of Us series, which is still filming and has yet to receive a premiere date.
