Fans of The Mandalorian no longer have to travel to a galaxy far, far away to meet Grogu; now, they can hold him in the palm of their hand.

Hot Toys is currently accepting pre-orders for a quarter-scale figurine of Grogu, also known as Baby Yoda and The Child, on the Sideshow website. Designed by head sculptor Ji Ho Lee, art director Da In Jeong and painter JC Hong, the toy is 9 centimeters (about 3.5 inches) tall, and comes with two interchangeable head sculpts, three pairs of interchangeable ears, a beige robe tailored specifically for the figure, a Mythosaur emblem necklace, silver knob and hover pram.

The Child Quarter Scale Collectible Figure retails for a price of $175 and shipments are expected to start in December 2021. Featuring a highly detailed, articulated likeness of the Mandalorian character, the two head sculpts feature two different facial expressions (natural and mouth-opened). The three interchangeable ears are equally as expressive, with a pair of relaxed ears, upward-pointing ears and downward-pointing ears. Along with that, the three pairs of interchangeable arms are each designed to hold the different accessories provided in the box, which also comes with a figure base designed with the series logo and the character's name.

Grogu has become a merchandising juggernaut, and Hot Toys' quarter-scale figure is only the most recent example. The quarter-scale replica is not the first Grogu-inspired collective from Hot Toys, with the company releasing a sixth-scale collectible set of the two characters, inspired by the relationship between Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin and The Child. The toy manufacturer also released a life-size Baby Yoda figure in 2020. Moreover, Funko, Inc. collaborated with Lucasfilm to create a Baby Yoda-shaped balloon for the 95th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Farm Rich released a line of cheesy potato tots shaped like Grogu's head.

The Mandalorian premiered on Disney+ on Nov. 12, 2019, with its second season debuting on Oct. 30, 2020. Created by Jon Favreau and starring Pascal, the story follows Din Djarin, the titular bounty hunter. He is hired to retrieve Grogu for a remnant of Imperial forces but instead goes on the run to protect the youngling from inevitable harm. The series received overwhelming praise from both critics and Stars Wars fans and inspired multiple spinoff shows, including The Book of Boba Fett, which is scheduled to premiere on Dec. 29, and Ahsoka, which will begin filming in the first quarter of 2022.

Hot Toys is also currently accepting pre-order for detailed figurines of characters from other iconic media franchises. For example, Marvel fans can pre-order a Zombie Deadpool figurine for $270, based on Robert Kirkman and Sean Phillips's limited series Marvel Zombies. Similarly, Hot Toys is also releasing a figure of Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova from Black Widow.

Hot Toys' Grogu figurine is now available for pre-order on Sideshow. The third season of The Mandalorian is scheduled to arrive on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
