Gina Carano will be playing Cara Dune, an important role in the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series, Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

The character was formally revealed today in Star Wars Celebration's panel for the upcoming series, revealed alongside Carl Weathers' Greif Marda.

While there's still not much information out there about Cara Dune, it's possible that she might join a gang of bounty hunters led by Greif Marda, another newly revealed character who'll be played by veteran actor Carl Weathers.

"He's kind of the head of this guild of bounty hunters. There seems to be a lot of kind of nefarious people," Weathers said. "He's looking for someone to go after a product for a client that's very valuable... and he finds a bounty hunter named Mandalorian, and he hires this guy and sends him out there and the Mando does what needs to be done."
