Long long ago, in a galaxy far far away, lays a fictional universe known as Star Wars. Although most people know about the films, including the newer films from Disney, Star Wars has become an important series in both films and other media. Whether it's in comics, books or even cartoons, there have been many ways for fans to get their interests aligned.
One of these many ways is the Mandalorian TV show which has since garnered a lot of popularity from fans. Thanks to its focus on things outside of space magic and on the characters. As such it would be fun to see which would best fit the characters based on the Chinese zodiac signs.
12 Rat - The Client
The first of the Chinese zodiac signs, they are known for being quick-witted and are very resourceful. However, that comes at a cost as they tend to lack courage at times. Regardless of this, they are diligent and hard-working people who take the observations they have to their advantage.
This fits fairly well with Werner Herzog's character of the Client. Although he is fairly mysterious, since he has ties with the Empire he is anything but trustworthy. However, he has enough resources and is intelligent enough to the point of being dangerous. Essentially being a decent negotiator who takes advantage of what he's got.
11 Ox - Greef Karga
The zodiac that comes right after Rat, Ox's are hardworking and diligent people who like to be incredibly ambitious. However, this is thankfully complemented by their humbleness and are very honest. Often putting their family and work first. Although they can be hard to communicate with at times.
Greef Karga is played by Carl Weathers and is the leader of the Bounty Hunters guild. He is very hard-working with a no-nonsense personality that requires him to be the best at what he does. Although he was an adversary initially, he eventually turns into quite the ally.
10 Tiger - IG-11
The ferocious Tigers are ones with bravery in their hearts. They can often act very competitive while having this sense of unorthodox in their thinking. They are quite charismatic and can be quite stubborn. But with the confidence they hold, it makes everything worthwhile. IG-11 is a bounty hunter droid who was initially very cold.
As a result of its unorthodox methods of killing its targets, it makes it greatly feared. Which makes it all the more impressive when it was reprogrammed as a protector to Baby Yoda as well as sacrificing its life for others. Showing its bravery.
9 Rabbit - Baby Yoda
Rabbits are the gentle zodiac sign. As they are fair, they are also incredibly patient people. That being said, however, they can be a little superficial at times or be a little sad when they are at their worst.
Nonetheless, they always try to treat people with the best of intentions. Baby Yoda, also known as the Child is one of the most innocent and gentlest creatures in the entire show. Although it still acts like a baby, it is incredibly compassionate and helps when it has to.
8 Dragon - Cara Dune
The incredibly powerful Dragon is a zodiac sign that appears during February. Fitting their firebreathing nature, people under this zodiac tend to be pretty hotheaded while also being very ambitious leaders and figureheads. Although they can be quite aggressive at times.
Cara Dune was a former shock trooper for the Rebellion who is very battle-hardened. However, she tends to be quite gruff and aggressive, hiding her kindness inside. Nonetheless, she is very ambitious and loyal to those she cares about.
7 Snake - The Mandolorian/Din Djarin
One of the most intelligent zodiacs out of the 12, Snakes are known for their incredible wisdom. They are also incredibly independent thinkers and like to stay private whenever they can with their goals. Although they are quiet, when they do communicate, they tend to be important.
The mysterious Mandalorian/Din Djarin is the protagonist of the series and based on the way he speaks he tends to be very experienced. Able to think quickly on the fly and only communicating what is necessary.
6 Horse - Mayfield
Horse's are very energetic people who tend to take part in anything. Whether it's being crowd people, being in parties or just generally being there, Horse zodiacs always love to liven anything up. They are also great with humor but they are also known to being fairly selfish. Mayfield is a sharpshooter with a sense of humor.
He loves mocking anyone especially those that rub him the wrong way. However, he is also incredibly selfish and is willing to backstab others wherever he sees fit.
5 Goat - Kuiil
Goats are similar to rabbits as they are fairly gentle people. They like to be mild-mannered and kind-hearted, however, they also have a strong sense of justice that makes them steadfast friends for anyone. Which is why they are great in groups. Kuiil is one of the wisest and down to earth characters within the Mandalorian TV show.
He believes entirely in peace and is filled with sympathy. However, as he is a believer in freedom, he will always help his friends whenever they need guidance. Being a nice parallel to the other characters.
4 Monkey - Toro Calican
As expected from monkeys in media, the monkey zodiac tends to be pranksters. Their personalities allow them to get along with virtually anyone, but they are also very fast learners. Making them incredibly eccentric.
Although they love to make jokes, sometimes it can hurt others unintentionally. Toro Calican is an overeager person that wants to become a strong bounty hunter. This makes him hope that he gets somewhere, however, he makes the big mistake of betraying the Mandalorian. Learning decently throughout his journey but not well by the end.
3 Rooster - Paz Vizsla
While not as energetic as the Horse, Roosters are still incredibly open and active people. They tend to be very honest with people and can be popular with people within the crowd. Although in spite of this, the attention can get to their heads and they can be quite problematic at times.
As a fellow Mandalorian, he tends to be incredibly straightforward as he is incredibly blunt to the main character. However, in spite of the problems he brings to the table, he can put them aside to help his fellow Mandalorians.
2 Dog - Omera
Just like a real dog, those within the dog zodiac are known to be honest and loyal people. With their strong sense of sincerity, they will try to do everything they can in order to help those that they care about. However, that comes at a cost of them not being the best with communication.
Omera is one of the farmers that the Mandalorian and Cara Dune help during chapter 4. She is incredibly loyal to her friends and family, initiating a strong bond with the Mandalorian. Although their communication was initially distant, the bond they shared becomes quite emotional.
1 Pig - Dr. Pershing
Finally, the last zodiac sign to be talked about, those that are of the Pig are compassionate souls. They are known to have great concentration and like to devote everything that they can into whatever they are working on. Although this trustworthy and focused nature also makes them susceptible to trickery.
Dr. Pershing was one of the people working for the Client. Although he is a scientist, he is quite compassionate as he wanted the Baby Yoda to come back alive. Showing that despite working for the Empire, not everyone was completely evil.
