Disney+'s rumored Boba Fett series that will serve as a prequel to The Mandalorian has reportedly added two mysterious new characters.

According to The Direct, both roles are for supporting characters whose codenames don't appear to reflect any currently established Star Wars figures.

The character codenames and descriptions are below:

  • Kelton: 23 to 27 years old, all ethnicities male. British. Athletic. Fit. Strong-willed and confident, bordering on arrogant. Witchy. SUPPORTING
  • Lacey: 23 to 30 years old, all ethnicities female. Preppy. Strong build. Leader. Will do anything to accomplish her goals, including lying to her own team. SUPPORTING

The rumored Boba Fett series would serve as a prequel to his time on The Mandalorian, which began in Season 1, Episode 5 when he appeared as mysterious figure approaching the seemingly lifeless body of Fennec Shand. He then returned in the final shot of the Season 2 premiere, watching Din Djarin from afar. The character finally made his first full appearance in "Chapter 14: The Tragedy," which saw him confront and later team up with Din, reclaiming his iconic armor in the process. That episode ended with Boba Fett agreeing to help Din save Grogu from Moff Gideon.

Temuera Morrison played Boba Fett's "father" Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones before playing Boba Fett in The Mandalorian. Notably, Jango was used as the genetic template for the Republic's clone army, and Boba was merely a clone not imbued with the soldiers' accelerated aging, whom Jango raised as a son until he was killed by Mace Windu at the Battle of Geonosis.

As for Boba, he seemingly died in Return of the Jedi when he was knocked into the Sarlacc pit by a blinded Han Solo. In the non-canon Expanded Universe (aka Legends), he escaped his would-be grave and resumed his rivalry with Han. It's yet to be explained how he survived in the current canon.

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. New episodes arrive Fridays on Disney+.
