THE WALKING DEADChad Coleman, recently revealed as Tyreese on "The Walking Dead," spoke with reporters about his character's role on the show following his introduction in the midseason finale.

"I would say the humanity of the man is very much akin to what was done in the graphic novel," Coleman said. "I believe his kind of lack of skills as a rifleman is very much a part of it. His desire to protect and his desire to abstain from egregious violence, like I said, his humanity, his strong sense of family -- those are things that are resonating for me in playing this role."

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2Two major pieces of "Amazing Spider-Man 2" casting news hit yesterday: Jamie Foxx was confirmed as Electro and Mark Webb announced "Chronicle" star Dane DeHaan has been cast as Harry Osborn.

"To say I'm excited is an understatement," DeHaan said via Twitter.

Meanwhile, ET Online spoke with Jamie Foxx about his excitement at playing Electro.

"Electro is a great character," Jamie told ET. "I met with the director, Mark Webb, I met with Andrew Garfield, and we talked. ... I think Electro will be an exciting character to play because he's a ... genius electrician-type person, and he gets the short end of the stick from the whole world, and the next thing you know he turns it on."

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS"Star Trek Into Darkness" director J.J. Abrams spoke with IGN about the upcoming "Star Trek" sequel filming in IMAX.

"The cameras themselves are a little unwieldy and a little loud and unpredictable," Abrams told IGN. "But then you go to dailies and you watch on this massive screen these images that you've shot having been filmed on a negative that's eight times bigger than what you normally use, and you cannot believe how good it looks. So that's exciting! But unlike 'Ghost Protocol,' a lot of what we shot is integrated into special effects and visual effects in a way that I cannot wait for people to see. I think it really is mind-blowing, how it looks. The IMAX frame, I think, is really the best way to see a movie."
