MAN OF STEELA new TV spot has debuted for Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" that focuses on Michael Shannon's General Zod.

Speaking of Shannon, Independent.ie spoke with the actor about his experience in the upcoming film.

"It's a nice feather in my cap, for sure. It's not anything I ever imagined I would be a part of and I'm still trying to process it really," Shannon told the Independent. "When I started acting, I never thought I would be in a Superman movie so it's pretty neat. I did some big blockbusters before, but never this prominent a role. I can't fathom how people would say no to Man Of Steel. I thought they were pulling my leg... Then I got on set, and realized they were serious. I had no qualms about doing it. I loved it. It was a blast."

THE WOLVERINEComic Book Movie has posted quotes from the latest issue of Empire Magazine from Hugh Jackman about "The Wolverine" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

"I was like, 'Okay, this is a slam-dunk idea. This, actually, is phenomenal. I think this will be, for X-Men, like The Avengers.' And I think it is," Jackman told Empire. "I was a little frustrated because I was nearing the end of a 12-to-18 month physical odyssey and getting ready to have Christmas off -- and lasagnas. And I'm, unfortunately, not as young as I was, so I have to start earlier and go for longer. So I was like, Okay, we gotta keep going.' But I'm really excited about it, and I never thought in a million years I would play one character in seven movies."

"There was something weird about me from the beginning. I don't know exactly when I started loving monsters so much, but it was definitely early," Del Toro told Empire. "When I was 4 or 5 years old, I would ask my mother, 'Can I sleep in the coffin tonight?' and I would lie down in a drawer or I would sleep in a toy box. There's even a recording of me, aged three or four, asking for a mandrake root, for Christmas, to use in magic rituals."
