MAN OF STEEL"Man of Steel" is due to debut tomorrow in U.S. theaters, and SuperHeroHype spoke with director Zack Snyder about his approach to bringing Superman back to the big screen.

"I think the thing for me was that I treat a graphic novel like I would a novel," Snyder told SuperHeroHype. "If you're doing an adaptation then it's an adaptation of a novel and the novel was written for a reason. Even if it's a graphic novel, the author had a point of view and it's your job to translate that point of view and that story into a movie. With a character movie like this, it really is your job to create a world for the character through the mythos and give the character a burden or a set of problems, pressure and growth, and that's the difference to me."

300: RISE OF AN EMPIREThe first trailer for "300: Rise of an Empire" debuted yesterday, bringing a new look at what to expect from the upcoming sequel.

MTV spoke with director Noam Murro about the approach he took for the "300" follow-up, which takes place at the same time as the first film.

"The idea of this movie was always that it takes place at about the same time of the first one," Murro told MTV. "It's as if you zoomed out and saw a bigger time frame and told a bigger story of what happened in '300.' The first movie speaks to the detail of this sequel."

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIERComic Book Movie has posted some behind-the-scenes photos of Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson locking lips as Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff. Many have already posited the kiss is romantic, but it seems more likely the characters are simply trying to keep their faces obscured as they're on the run from S.H.I.E.L.D. -- especially considering Steve Rogers is wearing glasses. Who knows?

XPose Entertainment has posted a quote from Dominic Cooper about his role as young Howard Stark and whether he'd be returning to the role for "The Winter Soldier."

"Well, I kind of am, I never know what to say about this," Cooper said during an interview with UK TV show "This Morning." "But I have definitely put the costume on. I have worn the costume and we have shot something, but how it's going to enter into the next phase of what they are planning I don't know. I sound so dodgy, I don't even believe myself! I have shot some scenes. I went off and shot something, but I can't even work out how my character can be in it; wouldn't I be dead? But anything is possible. They are quite secretive about where they are going to go with the characters and how it will slot in, you have no idea. So you turn up, put your costume on and do as you are told."

It's possible Cooper may not have reprised his role in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," but the rumored and unnamed Marvel One-Shot featuring Peggy Carter set to debut during this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego.
