One of the most difficult things about 2020 for movie fans has been the closing of theaters and the release delays of highly-anticipated movies. While some studios have decided to release their films on VOD, others have decided to wait for a theatrical release. Tenet became one of the first films to be released amidst the global pandemic. While it received a box office of $20.2 million -- which was the predicted estimate given the 50% capacity and reduced releases -- this scared Warner Brothers into yet again pushing back the release of Wonder Woman 1984 to December. However, there is still a long list of films slated for a 2020 release that, as of this moment, have not changed their release date too severely. Of course, these dates are subject to change and are based on release dates placed as of mid September 2020.
