The powers of a WWE Superstar aren't to be taken likely and one worthy young boy is about to inherit the abilities to go into the ring in an upcoming Netflix original movie.

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for The Main Event, its first co-produced by WWE. The film follows a boy named Leo that dreams about becoming a WWE Superstar and wrestling against his heroes. As he is chased by bullies, Leo stumbles across a magical lucha libre mask that grants those worthy enough to wear it the strength, speed and Superstar moves to enter the ring.

Not unlike Billy Batson inheriting the powers of Shazam, Leo uses his mask-imbued powers to perform incredible feats in his everyday life before living out his ultimate fantasy by joining the WWE and facing off against some familiar faces.

The Netflix original movie was filmed this past summer in Canada, with its release scheduled to coincide with Wrestlemania 36, the biggest professional wrestling event of the year. The film is helmed by Parks and Recreation director Jay Kara.
