Big things are headed for Magic: The Gathering as Wizards of the Coast's Summer of Legend campaign is poised to kick off, including whole new set of cards coming to the franchise's popular online game, Magic: The Gathering Arena.

Wizards has provided an exclusive sneak peek at the Historic Anthology V set coming to Arena on May 27 as part of the Summer of Legend. Illustrated by Kev Walker, Dave Kendall, Eric Deschamps and Jean-Sebastien Rossbach, with the cards ranging from Legendary creatures to artifacts capable of turning the tide of battle.

Ultimately, the Historic Anthology V set will introduce 25 new cards, with a Legendary event running in Arena until Aug. 1. The event will also include multiple Open Arena matches and the return of Jumpstart to the game from early-June through early-July.

In addition to the event and new cards coming to Arena, Summer of Legend will bring new cards to the table in Magic: The Gathering and Magic Online, with the Modern Horizons 2 set being added on June 3. Arena and Magic Online will also receive new cards through the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set on July 8 expanding the fantasy game as summer begins.

The Historic Anthology V set of cards will be released May 27 in Magic: The Gathering Arena as part of Wizards of the Coast's Summer of Legend.
