Writer Peter David is continuing his tale of the "Future Imperfect" Hulk in Maestro: War and Pax, a five-issue miniseries featuring Javier Pina on art.
"I am thrilled that, twenty years after I created him, the Maestro still intrigues people so much that the first series garnered the sort of success that demanded a follow-up," David said in a statement. "As long as folks want to keep reading about him, I'm happy to keep giving them stories."
Maestro: War and Pax will chronicle the evil Hulk's rise to power while uncovering secrets from the "Future Imperfect" story David penned in 1992-1993 with artist George Perez.

David recently teamed with artist Germán Peralta for a Maestro series, which revealed the villain's origin story.
"I had no idea that when I first created the Maestro for Future Imperfect, that he would have the kind of popularity and staying power he has now," David recounted when the series was first announced in May. "Until now, I've only been able to allude to his origins, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to explore them in this series, and I can't wait for fans to see all the artwork that's been coming in!"
