"Doctor Strange" spent this past weekend filming in Midtown Manhattan. The Marvel Studios production gave plenty of people a good look at Benedict Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejiofor in full Strange and Baron Mordo garb, as they ran through the city's streets. The filming also revealed Mads Mikkelsen's still unnamed villain character -- complete with creepy eye makeup. Some of what appear to be Mikkelsen's followers, who also sport the eye treatment, can be seen in the pics below.

Marvel has still not revealed who the "Hannibal" star is playing in the film. "Mads is playing our main villain," said executive producer Stephen Broussard to Entertainment Weekly.
"Mads' character is a sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect," elaborated Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. "[He] believes that the Ancient One is just protecting her own power base and that the world may be better off if we were to allow some of these other things through [to his dimension]."
"Doctor Strange" is directed by Scott Derrickson and opens in theaters November 4.
