January Jones, Mad Men's increasingly angry Betty Draper, is swapping the smoke-filled 1960s for a past period of more vague vintage: She's signed on to Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class as the younger Emma Frost.

Jones is just one of the actors confirmed by Fox yesterday to round out the cast; other actors confirmed include Lenny Kravitz' daughter Zoe as Angel (Presumably a version of the character from Grant Morrison's run, and not a gender-and-race-changed version of the character from X-Men: The Last Stand), Bill Milner as a young(er) Magneto (Michael Fasbender plays the character for the majority of the film, as a younger version of Ian McKellan's role in the original trilogy) and Morgan Lily as a young Mystique.

Production on the movie begins at the end of this month.
