Marvel Comics has released the cover for writer Charles Soule and artist Jesús Saiz's Star Wars #6, and it features Luke Skywalker wielding a strange, new yellow lightsaber for the very first time.

The cover by R.B. Silva shows Luke in his X-Wing suit while he ignites the yellow lightsaber, which he picks up after losing his original on Cloud City during his confrontation with Darth Vader.

Marvel's relaunch of its Star Wars comic picks up right after the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and chronicles the previously unseen adventures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and the Rebel Alliance. The series has already revealed what happened to Luke's lightsaber from his battle with Darth Vader, and now appears to be moving to his replacement.
