Actor Mike Colter recently held a Facebook Live chat to promote the release of "Marvel's Luke Cage" on Netflix. During the interview, Colter was joined by Finn Jones, who will star as Danny Rand in another Marvel Television show, "Iron Fist," slated to debut on Netflix in 2017.

Some juicy details regarding both "Iron Fist" and "The Defenders," another Netflix series bringing together all of Marvel's street-level heroes (Daredevil, Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist), can be taken from the video. Jones stated that he's shooting the finale of "Iron Fist" and this video was the first time the two have met. This makes it clear that Luke Cage does not make a guest-appearance on "Iron Fist," or at least doesn't directly interact with his comic book BFF Danny Rand in any way.

Colter revealed another important piece of information regarding "Defenders." During a discussion on the type of schedule an actor has to endure while filming a series, Colter said Jones won't receive any type of break because once he wraps "Iron Fist," he'll move right into the filming for "The Defenders." With only a few months left in 2016, it appears "Defenders" will start filming in early 2017.

Starring Finn Jones as Danny Rand, "Iron Fist" arrives on Netflix in 2017. The series also stars "Star Wars: The Force Awakens'" Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum and more.
