According to a media alert for the upcoming red carpet premiere for "Captain America: Civil War," two more actors from the film's cast have been revealed: Alfre Woodard and Jim Rash. Newsarama spotted the pair's addition to the cast, and the addition of Woodard is notable considering that she's already been cast in another Marvel Studios property.

Woodard will play Mariah Dillard in the upcoming Marvel/Netflix "Luke Cage" series. Her character, most likely a political candidate, is described as "a powerful woman in local politics who will have an impact on Luke Cage's life." But, according to some of Screen Crush's unnamed sources, that's not who Woodard will play in "Civil War." According to those sources, Woodard will play the mother of an American citizen that was killed during "Avengers: Age of Ultron's" final battle in Sokovia. She's rumored to have a scene with Tony Stark where she "lays both guilt and blame at him for the death of her son."

If Woodard is not playing Mariah Dillard in "Civil War," it will mark the second time that an actor has played two different characters within the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Enver Gjokaj played both a police officer in 2012's "Marvel's the Avengers" and then went on to play Daniel Sousa in two seasons of "Agent Carter."

Jim Rash, who is best known for playing Dean Pelton on "Community," will also have a to-be-revealed role in the film. "Civil War" directors Joe and Anthony Russo served as executive producers and frequent directors on "Community," and cast member Danny Pudi had a brief cameo as a S.H.I.E.L.D. officer in the directors' "Captain America: Civil War."

"Captain America: Civil War" opens on May 6, 2016.
