Following his release from prison last summer in Marvel's The Defenders, Luke Cage is back in the teaser for the second season of his Netflix series.

The 26-second promo arrives this morning with a release date, June 22, and a helpful rundown of the hero's powers: can't be burned, blasted, or broken. And anyone who wants to test him can "step up. I'm right here!"

After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.

Luke's debut season dealt with this issue in an early episode wherein the people of Harlem demanded that he forcefully get their stolen items back. But now that his reputation has been significantly bolstered by his fight against Diamondback and subsequent incarceration, he'll be dealing with that problem on an even bigger scale than before. And with both this unknown new foe and Mariah and Shades continuing to make moves in the shadows, the Unbreakable Man certainly has his work cut out for him in his sophomore season.

Luke Cage stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi, Rosario Dawson, Mustafa Shakir and Gabrielle Dennis.
