Ahead of next week's premiere, Netflix has a released the final trailer for the second season of Marvel's Luke Cage.

Featuring the return of Alfre Woodard's Mariah Dillard, the trailer shows the new crime lord of Harlem facing a challenge in her hold over the neighborhood in new villain Bushmaster (Mustafa Shakir).

"You don't need to be bulletproof to be a superhero. Black women have always had superpowers; turning pain into progress," Mariah declares. "Harlem doesn't need a hero, it needs a queen."

Set ominously to "Ready or Not" by The Fugees, the trailer showcases a battle for Harlem between Dillard and Bushmaster, with Luke Cage forced to decide if he should pick a side to prevent his entire neighborhood from descending into bloody gangland warfare. And as Mariah runs her brother's old criminal operation with trusted associate Shades (Theo Rossi) by her side from their nightclub Harlem's Paradise, it's becoming increasingly clear she is not looking to give up the throne to either Cage or Bushmaster without a fight. As the battle for Harlem escalates, Cage may have to make a deal with the devil for the greater good.

Arriving on June 22 on Netflix, the second season of Luke Cage stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi, Rosario Dawson, Mustafa Shakir and Gabrielle Dennis.
