Production has wrapped on the second season of Marvel's Luke Cage, set to premiere next year on Netflix.

The news arrives on the Instagram page of Tilda Johnson actress Gabrielle Dennis, who posted photos from the wrap party, featuring stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Alfre Woodward, Theo Rossi, Mustafa Shakir, and series creator Cheo Hodari Coker.

Netflix renewed the drama for a second season in December 2016; filming began in June in New York City. Following the meeting between Luke Cage and Iron Fist on Marvel's The Defenders, Finn Jones will reprise his role as Danny Rand in the second season.

Premiering in 2018 on Netflix, the 13-episode second season of Luke Cage features returning cast members Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard and Theo Rossi as Shades, joined by newcomers Mustafa Shakir as John McIver and Gabrielle Dennis as Tilda Johnson.
