A sneak peek at Marvel's Luke Cage Season 2 shows Mike Colter's Hero of Harlem flexing his muscles and trying out for the NFL.

Pushing the envelope further in the second season of the Netflix drama, Luke's bulletproof skin is sure to put to the test alongside the rise of a dangerous new foe. It isn't easy playing the super-strength superhero, but after a hard day battling crime, it looks as if Luke likes to unwind with some sports. However, in the first clip from the new season, Luke is seen taking his support of the NFL to the next level.

Ahead of the show's return on June 22, fans can see what Cage has been up to since acquiring his newfound celebrity status. Coinciding with April 26's NFL draft, the Luke Cage clip has the titular muscle man testing his strength alongside New York Jets Head Coach Todd Bowles and familiar sports faces Jemele Hill and Michael Smith.

After managing to clear his name, Luke isn't given much time to rest on his laurels. Annabelle Sciorra will be the new villain in the next run of 13 episodes, but Cage will also butt heads again with the likes of Theo Rossi and Alfre Woodard Shades and Mariah.

With Luke having to be more vigilant than ever now that the world knows his name, perhaps his new friends at the NFL can lend a hand to help protect the mean streets of Harlem. The clip may be titled "The Show Off," as Cage's athletic ability easily passes the test. However, don't expect Luke to give up his day job of vigilante justice to join the Jets just yet.

Luke Cage stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi, Rosario Dawson, Mustafa Shakir and Gabrielle Dennis.
