SPOILER WARNING: This article contains spoilers for the end of Netflix's The Defenders, streaming now.

When Misty Knight was cast in the first season of Luke Cage, many fans hoped that we'd get to see the character sport her iconic bionic arm from the comics. While it looked as though fans would get there wish during the show's first season, as Misty was hurt on the line of duty, it wasn't until The Defenders that we got to see the character take one step closer to looking more like her comic counterpart.

After losing her arm at the hands of The Hand's Bakuto (Ramón Rodríguez), Misty finds herself in a hospital owned by Danny Rand with Colleen Wing promising that they'll work to get her back on her feet. Judging by the photo below, she's currently back on her feet by the time Luke Cage Season 2 rolls around.

Entertainment Weekly debuted the first look of Missick's Knight with her new arm, but had no further details regarding how or when she gains the appendage as Marvel is keeping those details tight-lipped for the time being. In the comics, though, her bionic arm was designed by Tony Stark and Stark Industries after she lost the limb in a bombing. Thanks to the separation between Marvel's movie and TV universes, it's a safe bet to expect Luke Cage Season 2 to take a different approach.
