New images from the upcoming sixth season of Lucifer have surfaced, and although they contain some hints at the changes afoot, it appears one thing will stay the same: Lucifer's lack of artistic ability. The Netflix Geeked Twitter account shared a set of images from Season 6, which was recently announced to be dropping on Sep. 10. The first photo shows Lucifer holding up a drawing of an angel stick figure as if it's a visual reference for someone. In the second image, he's dressed in the white tux from the teaser trailer, standing next to a gun-wielding Carol. The third is perhaps the most intriguing, as it features Dan Espinoza, who died in the last season and is presumed to be in Hell.RELATED: Lucifer: 8 Shows To Fill The Void Left By Season 5B

Although Lucifer's simplistic sketch continues a running joke of the series, it may also suggest some plot details to come, as there are many angel characters who could become especially significant. The frowning stick figure could possibly be Azrael, the Angel of Death, or another of Lucifer's siblings yet to be seen.

Even the evidence of Lucifer's poor drawing skills might point to some questions about his current state being resolved. In the Season 5 finale, Lucifer accepted the mantle of ruler of the universe after his father, God, decides to retire, but how this will affect him is so far unknown. Even as the Devil, Lucifer was known for having a number of unparalleled talents (most evident being piano and seduction), but his new omnipotence apparently won't make him a master of all skills.

Netflix also set the path to making a meme out of Lucifer and his sheet of paper, replacing the angel doodle with various text or images and then providing a template for fans to make their own.

Lucifer's Season 6 release date was announced during the show's Comic-Con@Home panel, along with a short clip from the upcoming season that provided a peek at the Devil's life in the wake of the major changes he and the world went through at the end of Season 5.

Starring Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, Lauren German as his lover Chloe, D.B. Woodside as the angel Amenadiel, and Lesley-Ann Brandt as the demon Mazikeen, Lucifer is based on the comic series of the same name. The story follows the Devil on a vacation from ruling Hell as he attempts to understand humanity and his place in it.
