Although Netflix rescued the series after Fox canceled it, fans don't have to worry: the trailer reveals that nothing has changed -- not the series, nor its cast, and definitely not Lucifer, who will once again be up to his usual, self-destructive ways.
The Season 4 trailer teases the fallout of the shocking Season 3 finale, where Detective Chloe Decker finally saw Lucifer's true face as the devil. Clearly, when this new season picks up, there will be plenty of friction between the two characters, and it appears things will only grow worse with the arrival of Inbar Lavi's Eve. Yes, that Eve.
What's more, the trailer also features plenty of action, and it brings an ominous warning: "When the devil finds his first love, evil shall be released." What kind of evil? And is Eve really Lucifer's first love? Or is that Chloe?
Season 4 of Lucifer will be comprised of 10 episodes, all of which will hit the streaming service on May 8.
Helmed by Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich, Lucifer’s fourth season stars Tom Ellis as the Devil, Lauren German as Det. Chloe Decker, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, Kevin Alejandro as Det. Dan Espinoza, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen Smith, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, and newcomer Inbar Lavi as Lucifer’s ex and Adam’s wife Eve. The show releases on Netflix on May 8.
