Netflix has finally revealed the fourth season of Lucifer will arrive on Wednesday, May 8.
The announcement came with a promo that, in a fitting bit of timing, was released exactly 666 hours before the 10-episode will drop on the streaming giant.
The promo features a slow-motion shot of star Tom Ellis' Lucifer (complete with a new 666 tattoo) getting out of a pool as he takes a sip of his obligatory alcoholic beverage. While the teaser doesn't reveal any Season 4 footage, we do get a sense that the series will, as promised, be much "sexier" than ever before.

Along with the release date and the new promo, Netflix has debuted a teaser poster that echoes the video's announcement: "He is risen."
Lucifer was canceled last year by Fox. However, after a vocal fan campaign, Netflix announced the series would return for more episodes. Lucifer will follow the streaming giant's release model, as all 10 episodes will be released at the same time for a devilish binge.
Season 4 of Lucifer will premiere on Netflix May 8. The series stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, Lauren German as Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Dan Espinoza, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, Rachael Harris as Linda Martin, Graham McTavish as Father Kinley and Inbar Lavi as Eve.
