WAIT, WHAT'S THAT ABOUT NUDE SCENES?
Thanks to the old restrictions, the physical demands of the role never seemed too great on Tom Ellis. Like many things on Lucifer, however, that may also be changing. In preparation for the upcoming season, Ellis spent a lot of time in the gym, as evidenced by his Instagram account on which he has posted several shots of the results, as well as a brief description of his training regimen.
The actor also posted a photo of a modesty pouch (a devices designed to hide an actor's... assets while filming nude scenes) accompanied by a strip of paper with the devil emoji printed on it. What that implies is that Ellis trained not just for a what might be more demanding action sequences, but for nude scenes as well. If that's the case, there can be no doubt that Lucifer will no longer hold back on any of the devilish fun its premise seems to offer.
HOW LONG WILL THIS SEASON BE?
Unlike the seasons that preceded it, the upcoming fourth season of Lucifer will span just 10 episodes. According to the producers, a shorter season means a much tighter season arc, which will translate to much less filler. Thanks to the writers room, we know the titles of each one of those episodes, each one hinting at what fans can expect to see.
The first episode is titled, "Everything's Okay," followed by "Somebody's Been Reading Dante's Inferno," "O, Ye of Little Faith, Father," "All About Eve," "Expire Erect," "Orgy Pants to Work," "Devil Is as Devil Does," "Super Bad Boyfriend," "Save Lucifer" and finally, the partially released title, "_____ King of Hell?"
FOR THE LOVE OF LUCIFER, WHEN WILL IT BE RELEASED?
Everyone involved has been tight-lipped about the upcoming season. The release date has been the subject of speculation among excited fans. Previous seasons have led many to believe that season 4 will be released some time in the spring. Modrovich and Henderson never offered a date but promised an announcement of some kind when asked about it in an interview. They remained vague but promised fans, "Just a liiiiiitle [sic] bit longer, I promise. Then all will be revealed."
Now, after months of waiting and guessing, a teaser trailer was released by Netflix for the fourth season of Lucifer. The clip shows Tom Ellis as Lucifer, emerging from a pool with a drink in hand. It's not much but there is a lot to be excited about because at the very end, the trailer includes a specific date and it is...May 8! Expect all 10 episodes to be released then.
