Earlier today, Netflix revealed the final official trailer for Lucifer Season 6. Among other things, the trailer showcases Lucifer coming to terms with becoming God, a Looney Tunes-esque animated sequence and a final battle between Lucifer and Chloe Decker. Perhaps more interestingly, however, is the fact that it also debuts the first official footage of Brianna Hildebrand as the Devil's latest enemy: his rebellious younger sister, Rory.

While Rory was previously spotted as part of a series of still images from Lucifer's final season, the new trailer finally shows her in action. And during her very first appearance, she declares her goal in no uncertain terms: "destroy Lucifer Morningstar."

Late last year, it was reported that Hildebrand -- known for her role as Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the Deadpool films -- had joined the cast of Lucifer Season 6 as Rory, with Entertainment Weekly describing the character as "a rebellious, angsty, and ready-to-start-some-trouble angel." However, while Rory initially plans to follow in Lucifer's footsteps, she soon comes to the realization that he "isn't exactly the devilish big bro she hoped he'd be."

Based on the DC/Vertigo Comics character of the same name created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg, Lucifer premiered on Fox in 2016. Fox canceled the show after three seasons, with Netflix reviving it for Season 4, which premiered in 2019. Season 5A followed suit in 2020, with Season 5B arriving this past May. Lucifer Season 5 was originally announced as the series' last, though the show was ultimately renewed for Season 6, which will definitively close the series when its 10 episodes arrive on Netflix this September.
