Lucasfilm is on the hunt for the person who leaked an image from Star Wars: The Force Awakens of Kylo Ren, the cloaked, lighsaber-wielding figure whose introduction in the film's teaser trailer caused such a stir.

As first reported by Courthouse News Service, the Disney-owned company filed a subpoena request Friday in San Francisco federal court against ImageShack, seeking the release of information under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Lucasfilm hopes to uncover the identity of ImageShack user "Darth_Simi," who on Oct. 29 uploaded a blurry, frontal image of Kylo Ren with his crossguard-style lighstaber that reveals the characters mask; the shot is watermarked StarWarsUnderworld.com.

Interestingly, Courthouse News Service notes the photo had racked up just 337 views as of Friday, three months after it was uploaded. Since Lucasfilm's subpoena request became public, it's added another 205.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens Dec. 18.
