The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power's elf ensemble members Morfydd Clark and Ismael Cruz Córdova have revealed what they love the most about elven culture.

In the video officially tweeted by the Prime Video and LOTR accounts, the duo dig into the intriguing, supernatural aspects of their characters. As Clark, who plays Galadriel, explains, "What I love about elven culture is the relationship to beauty, and the beauty of nature." She added, "Obviously that was amazing because we were in New Zealand when we were filming it, and you're surrounded by beauty." As co-star Córdova adds, "My character, Arondir, is an elf. He's actually in a different world in a different realm, in the realm of humans in the Southlands." He continues, "As an elf, I love the relationship with time. You know, these beings are eternal, so these people get to see the flow of nature, the rising and falling of things, the birth and death of other beings. So I do love that there's a spiritual concept, but I also think the ears are cool."

Rings of Power Finale Fever Begins

Fans of The Rings of Power are about to see the last of the show's elves -- at least for a while since the season finale is right around the corner, premiering on Oct. 14. To celebrate the end of an era, The Lord of the Rings' official account also tweeted out the finale's epic poster, which showcases the main characters back to back. The tweet is captioned "It all led to this."

If The Rings of Power's latest episode, Udûn, is anything to go by, it's safe to say that the final few episodes will feature some epic, action-packed moments. The episode saw Clark's Galadriel fighting bloodthirsty Orcs on horseback and performing epic stunts. The actor was shocked by the feats her stunt double was able to achieve. “I can’t believe that was possible," she said. "Before doing this, I thought so much of horse stunts were CGI, but it wasn’t.”

Not only is the season finale bound to be epic, but it also seems on track to continue drawing a substantial number of viewers. A recent report revealed that The Rings of Power has garnered a whopping 1.25 billion minutes watched since its Sept. 1 premiere, as opposed to its genre-similar competitor, HBO's House of the Dragon, which marked 781 million minutes.

Based on what the show's cast members have teased, fans should be excited for the season's finale few episodes. Charlie Vickers, who plays Halbrand, said that his favorite is "the last episode, the eighth episode." He added, "I'm not going to say why, because I'm going to leave a few details unexplored." A number of other cast members seconded this opinion.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power releases new episodes on Fridays on Prime Video. Episode 7 will premiere Oct. 7, 2022.
