It may have been massively hyped, but Lost's finale may not have been the ratings juggernaut you might have expected: Entertainment Weekly has preliminary data that gives the show a 9 rating, which puts it, as they explain, "about even with what the Desperate Housewives season-ender did on the same Sunday in ’09." Assuming that the final numbers don't show a massive uptick, then... ouch.
