Netflix has released the final trailer for Lost in Space Season 2.

The trailer, which was released by Netflix on YouTube, opens with the crew of the Resolute turning their craft into a sailboat to the tune of Iggy Pop's "The Passenger." However, things soon take a dark turn, with the rest of the trailer teasing threats the Robinson family and crew of the Resolute will have to deal with this season, as well as the search for the Robot.

There’s more danger — and adventure — ahead for the Robinson family! With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot, the Robinsons must work together, alongside the mischievous and manipulative Dr. Smith and the always charming Don West, to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists. But they quickly find all is not as it seems. A series of incredible new threats and unexpected discoveries emerge as they look for the key to finding Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri. They will stop at nothing to keep their family safe... survival is a Robinson specialty after all.

Lost in Space is the latest version of the 1965 sci-fi TV series of the same name. The series follows the Robinson family, who are traveling aboard the Resolute spacecraft when they crash onto a habitable planet. Season 1, which holds a 68% critic score on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, released in April 2018 and received a renewal shortly afterwards. Production on Season 2 started in September 2018 and wrapped in January.

Streaming now on Netflix, the 10-episode first season of Lost in Space stars Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Maxwell Jenkins, Taylor Russell, Mina Sundwall, Ignacio Serricchio, and Parker Posey. All episodes of Season 2 will premiere on December 24.
