The beloved Looney Tunes will make a comeback in a big way next year.

Warner Bros. Animation has announced a massive animated initiative relaunching the iconic animated property in 2019 as Looney Tunes Cartoons. Boasting the high production value of the theatrically released Looney Tunes cartoons from Hollywood's golden years, the new cartoons will feature the classic characters in new adventures.

Looney Tunes Cartoons will vary from one to six minutes in length, with 1,000 minutes of new content to be distributed on multiple platforms, including digital streaming, mobile devices and television.

"The Looney Tunes are one of the most beloved group of animated characters in the world," Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation, said in a statement. "Looney Tunes Cartoons places these characters into the hands of some of the best artists in the business and into an animated shorts format that will remind many of the time when they first fell in love with Bugs, Daffy, Porky and the rest of the gang."

Featuring the return of veteran Looney Tunes voice actors, including Eric Bauza, Jeff Bergman and Bob Bergen, Looney Tunes Cartoons will debut in 2019. It is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans GO!) and Peter Browngardt (Steven Universe).
