New photos reveal a (still-)bearded Hugh Jackman and a newly bearded Patrick Stewart on the New Orleans set of "Wolverine 3," alongside an unidentified child actress.

The pics, which you can check out at Just Jared, captured a scene wherein Wolverine wheels a seemingly sickly (and/or endangered) Professor X out of a casino and into a truck.

So far, not much has been revealed about "Wolverine 3," except that it will be R-rated, set in the future and have a Western feel. Rumors posit that the film will adapt Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's "Old Man Logan" storyline, with the mutant-hating Donald Pierce and his cyborg assassins the Reavers as the villains.

Another major rumor suggests -- and is possibly supported by the "X-Men: Apocalypse" post-credits scene -- that X-23 will be making her live-action debut in "Wolverine 3." The Wolverine clone first appeared on the "X-Men: Evolution" animated series, before becoming a major player in the comics. Currently, X-23 carries the mantle of Wolverine in her own series from Marvel Comics.
