LOOK: "Moon Knight" #1 Questions Everything Marc Spector Knows in New Preview

In a preview for Jeff Lemire, Greg Smallwood and Jordie Bellaire's "Moon Knight" #1, Marc Spector's life takes a startling new direction when he finds himself in an insane asylum.

"This series opens with Marc Spector in an insane asylum where he's being told he's never been Moon Knight, that Khonshu and his entire life as a super hero have been delusions brought on by his mental illness," editor Jake Thomas explained to Marvel.com. "I mean, we all know Spector is crazy, but what if he's really, really crazy? Marc begins to suspect something is seriously not right at this hospital, but just because they're out to get you, doesn't mean you're not crazy."

Additionally, Marvel unveiled Greg Smallwood's cover of the series' debut issue, which is scheduled to hit shelves in April.

Marvel also released a two-page preview of the issue; though the pages were released in black and white back in September, the new preview boasts color work by Jordie Bellaire.

Jeff Lemire, Greg Smallwood and Jordie Bellaire's "Moon Knight" #1 will arrive at retailers in April.
