LOOK: Greg Capullo Teases His "Dark Knight III" Variant Cover

For the past several years, Greg Capullo has illustrated DC Comics' best-selling series, but in November, the "Batman" artist shifts his focus from the modern DC Universe to the future-based world of "Dark Knight III: The Master Race."

Already announced as one of the many A-list artists involved in the variant cover program for the anticipated sequel, Capullo has shared a glimpse of his interpretation of Bruce Wayne on Twitter. And while he only revealed a piece of his cover, it's obvious which scene from "Dark Knight Returns" Capullo has chosen to reinterpret.

"Dark Knight III: The Master Race" is co-written by Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello with art by Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson. The sequel to the seminal "Dark Knight Returns" and its follow-up "The Dark Knight Strikes Again," "The Dark Knight III" #1 is scheduled for release on Nov. 25.
