After decades of development, rumors, setbacks and abandoned scripts, a new "Ghostbusters" film is finally happening -- and there are set pics and videos to prove it! Director Paul Feig has set up shop in Boston (which reports indicate is doubling for Manhattan in the spooky sequel) and three of his 'busters -- "SNL's" Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon as well as frequent Feig collaborator Melissa McCarthy -- can be seen in their pre-proton pack garb. The fourth Ghostbuster, Leslie Jones, has yet to be seen on set.
First, Wiig can be seen sporting an outfit that looks to be pulled right out of 1984, when the original "Ghostbusters" was released. We know nothing about any of these new characters, but Wiig looks much more no-nonsense here than she did in Paul Feig's "Bridesmaids."

Another set of pics show off McCarthy and McKinnon's looks, the latter of which is almost unrecognizable under those paint-splattered overalls and '90s alt-rock glasses.

Another photo, posted to Instagram, popped up, showing director Paul Feig working with McCarthy and McKinnon on the Boston set.
And lastly, a drive-by video of the set was also uploaded to Instagram; if you look closely, you san see McCarthy standing under an umbrella.
"Ghostbusters" opens on July 22, 2016.
