The first image has debuted of Hogwarts in the upcoming theatrical production -- that will serve as a sequel to the original "Harry Potter" novels -- "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."
Hermione and Ron’s daughter Rose Granger-Weasley, played by Cherrelle Skeete, takes center stage in the photo (via Entertainment Weekly), surrounded by banners for classic Hogwarts houses Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.
Scribe J.K. Rowling also shared the following behind-the-scenes look at the production, in which she urges fans to not spoil the plot (like they did with the books):

The play, which was written by Rowling with playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany, chronicles a grown-up Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Draco, and their children. Details are tight on the specific plot, but the synopsis indicates the play will follow a now-adult Harry Potter and his son, Albus Severus, 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts in Deathly Hallows. The play's Harry is described as "...overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic...with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs."
Character portraits for the updated versions of the characters were previously released.
Previews for "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" start today in London, before the production officially opens on July 30. The play will be raleased as a book -- for Harry Potter's Birthday -- on July 31.
