When news broke a few weeks ago that "Game of Thrones" actor Finn Jones would be taking on the role of Danny Rand in Marvel and Netflix's "Iron Fist" series, many people were curious as to how Jones would portray the character.

Today the young British actor was seen filming downtown New York City today, and these images quickly hit the web. These are the first pictures of Jones as Danny Rand -- the martial artist who will eventually become the "hero for hire," Iron Fist.

"Iron First" recently cast "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actress Jessica Henwick to play Colleen Wing, along with David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, who will all play members of the Meachum family.

"Iron Fist" will debut on Netflix some time in 2017.
