For those Harry Potter fans who have already devoured "The Cursed Child Parts One and Two," there’s still good news: "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is only a few months away, and the life and work of Newt Scamander is sure to be an effective comfort for any who already miss J.K. Rowling’s world.

Named after Scamander’s book, which happened to be on Harry’s first-year reading list, and adapted from Rowling’s written work of the same name, "Fantastic Beasts" follows Newt (Eddie Redmayne) as he travels to New York City in the 1920s to meet with members of the American magical community. When things go awry and magical creatures are released, Newt must recapture the creatures before they wreak havoc on the surrounding muggle communities.

Now Entertainment Weekly has identified at least some of those creatures, many of which will be familiar from Harry’s studies at Hogwarts. Among them is the Bowtruckle, a plantlike creature famously good at picking locks, and the Demiguise, a silver-haired cousin to the primate, whose pelt is often hunted to create invisibility cloaks. You can see more at EW.

If the rendering of these creatures is anything to go by, then director David Yates' "Fantastic Beasts" is sure to be every bit as magical as fans hope.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" can be found in theaters beginning Nov. 18.
