If you thought Deadpool’s reign as the king of superhero movie marketing was over with the release of his film, think again. The Marc with a Mouth’s irreverent brand of brand awareness is back in full force — and this time, it’s digital. With “Deadpool’s” addition to the iTunes store, Wade Wilson’s influence has spread to other films in the online store. New banners in the iTunes store feature Deadpool taking over posters and ads for movies ranging from other “X-Men” films to even the ’60s “Batman” film.
“Deadpool” is available for purchase in iTunes now, and on Blu-ray on May 10.
