LOOK: Crossbones Intimidates In New "Civil War" Promo Pic

As the day wears on, the contents of Empire's "Captain America: Civil War" cover story continue to be revealed. In addition to a pair of of covers, one of which pays homage to the original "Civil War" comics, the magazine has given fans their first official look at Frank Grillo's Crossbones. Grillo's villain Brock Rumlow returns to action in the film, sporting a new set of comic-inspired armor following the extensive injuries he suffered in "Captain America: Winter Soldier."

The pics also reveal a full body look at Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, giving us a more detailed look at the Avenger's superhero suit briefly glimpsed in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." And rounding out the reveals is a new still of Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) standing face-to-face.

ComicBookMovie has scans of the pics "Empire" hasn't released online yet, featuring an unmasked Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and shots of Scarlett Johansson in action as Black Widow.
