"Doctor Strange" is set to bring the Marvel Universe into the realm of magic this November and these new images prove that the film has been heavily influenced by the colorful, multi-dimensional, color palate from the comic books.
Stephen Strange himself (Benedict Cumberbatch) takes center stage in this new officially licensed calendar from Trends International. Comic Book Movie first spotted the calendar and shared some of the images from the interior. Each month shows a wildly colorful and psychedelic image of the good Doctor and includes the month in both English and French.
The front cover of the calendar also shows a stunning depiction of Cumberbatch's Strange. The back shows each month's image where you can see the Sorcerer Supreme showcased in vivid colors and artistic textures.
Marvel's Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City's Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
"Doctor Strange" opens in theaters November 4 and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Benedict Wong.
