Earlier this year fans learned that the cast of Starz's hit horror-comedy series "Ash vs. Evil Dead" would be expanding in Season 2. In addition to Ted Raimi (brother of "Evil Dead" director and "AvED" Executive Producer Sam Raimi) as Ash's childhood best friend, fans will also get to meet Ash's dad for the very first time. With Bruce Campbell already a horror icon, the show wouldn't be doing him justice without casting another icon as his father. Enter Lee Majors, perhaps best known from "The Six Million Dollar Man."

The first photo of the character was revealed today by Entertainment Weekly, who also spoke with Campbell about what to expect from the upcoming season. Mostly, it sounds like Ash's sidekick Pablo (Ray Santiago) is in for a really bad, really bloody time.

"Pablo’s got a crazy journey this year. The stuff he goes through makes my life seem easy," said Campbell. "I think we’re going to find out that he’s not just Ash’s sidekick. I don’t think Ray had any idea what was coming. Some of the horrors that await Pablo..."

Season 2 of "Ash vs Evil Dead" picks up with Ash living the good life; "having keggers and hanging with chicks." But, life has a tendency of getting in the way, even when surrounded by Deadites. Things go sour quickly causing Ash, Pablo and Kelly (Dana Delorenzo) to head to William's hometown of Elk Grove, Michigan. Where we get to meet the old man himself, Lee Majors. “He’s even grumpier than Ash,” says Campbell. There's a reason why they say you can't go home.

A continuation of director Sam Raimi’s cult film franchise, "Ash Vs. Evil Dead" follows Ash after three decades avoiding maturity, and the terrors of the Evil Dead. But when a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, he’s forced to face his demons -- both metaphorical and literal.

"Ash vs Evil Dead" returns to Starz this October.
