Behind-the-scenes pics from the "Batman v Superman" Ultimate Cut offer a fresh look at Jason Momoa's Aquaman.

Less than three weeks ahead of the release of the "Batman v Superman" Ultimate Cut on Blu-ray/DVD, new behind-the-scenes photos have surfaced of Jason Momoa's Aquaman in the film.

As those who saw the film already know, Momoa's Aquaman very briefly made a splash in "Batman v Superman," in a dark, underwater cameo. In the new pics we get a much better look at Aquaman's costume and trident before the CGI was added -- revealing a gold armor that appeared much less shiny in the final version of the film.

Momoa's Aquaman next appears "Justice League," hitting theaters on November 17, 2017, before starring in his solo film directed by James Wan ("The Conjuring 2"), due to hit theaters on July 27, 2018.

The "Batman v Superman" Ultimate Cut arrives on Digital HD June 28, and on Blu-ray/DVD July 19.
