Never say never, Green Arrow fans; though he once said his Oliver Queen would "never" grow a goatee, Stephen Amell is rocking some sweet facial hair in the latest photos from "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."

Amell posted the photos to his Facebook and Twitter accounts with the captions "Get up old man" and "Old feuds die hard." Though we see his opponent only from the back, it appears as though his foe might be Deathstroke. Both pictures are from "Star City 2046," next week's episode of "Legends."

"We're going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from 'Arrow,'" executive producer Marc Guggenheim said in an earlier interview. "As an added bonus to comic-book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character's appearance in the seminal 'Dark Knight Returns.' We think this episode features some of the coolest things we've ever done."

Airing Thursday nights at 8 pm EST on The CW, "Legends of Tomorrow" stars Caity Lotz as White Canary, Brandon Routh as the Atom, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein (one-half of Firestorm), Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson (the other half of Firestorm), Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl and Arthur Darvill as time-traveler Rip Hunter.
