Long-Promised 24 Movie to Shoot in Spring, Sutherland Promises

According to Jack Bauer himself, the clock is quickly counting down to the 24 movie, with filming set to begin in late April or early May.

Kiefer Sutherland, who starred as the torture-happy federal agent for eight seasons on Fox, told TVLine that the long-discussed movie will be a “relatively a direct continuation" of the series finale, which saw Bauer saving the day and leaving the CTU team behind. "We’re talking maybe six months from the end of that episode,” he said.

Also, the film will follow the "whole adventure in one single day" format set up by the series. Aside from that, and the recent report from TV Guide that Mary Lynn Rajskub will return as Bauer's right-hand woman Chloe O'Brian, not much is known about the film, but we're convinced that Bauer and company will be able to handle any threat thrown his way in a timely fashion.
