The final moments of the newly released trailer for Loki shows the God of Mischief wearing a three-piece suit and a political button with his name on it, affirming that the upcoming Disney+ series draws some level of inspiration from the character's 2016 comic book miniseries, Vote Loki. Now, a picture has surfaced of the merchandise gifted to the show's cast and crew following the wrap of production, further confirming the series' ties to the comic storyline.

Reddit user U/Zachindes shared the image, featuring a Loki-themed badge and coffee mug, with the caption, "LOKI Wrap Party Swag." Both items bear the quote, "Glorious Purpose," with the badge displaying an image of Loki's trademark horned helmet and the coffee mug showcasing an image of Loki taken directly from the cover of Vote Loki #1.

Vote Loki was a four issue miniseries that saw the deceitful Asgardian campaigning to become the next president of the United States. The book was a political satire that was released to coincide with the 2016 presidential election.

The "Glorious Purpose" insignia found on both of the show's wrap gifts was originally spoken by Tom Hiddleston's Loki in 2012's The Avengers upon the character's arrival on Earth, when he tells Nick Fury, "I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose."
