The Nielsen ratings for Disney+'s major shows are here, and Loki takes home the gold in Marvel viewership numbers.

Loki's first season received 5.23 billion minutes of watch time during its six-week run, according to THR. This officially puts it ahead of every other Disney+ live-action Marvel show to date in terms of views, as well as the latest live-action Star Wars show, The Book of Boba Fett. Despite this achievement, Loki's watch time still fell under those of The Mandalorian's first season -- averaging at 5.42 billion -- and was completely dwarfed by the show's Season 2, which nearly doubled Loki at 8.38 billion views.

However, in terms of individual minutes per episode, Loki beat out its competition for average watch time. Amassing 872 million minutes per episode, the series' numbers were only matched by its its predecessor, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, at 692 million minutes per episode, followed by The Mandalorian's first season with 677.5 million minutes. In total, the six current Marvel and Star Wars series produced almost 36 billion minutes of viewing time combined, despite some entries like Boba Fett not being as well-received by critics.

Loki followed the events of Avengers: Endgame and saw the titular Asgardian God of Mischief apprehended by the Time Variance Authority for breaking away from his designated timeline. Put under the custody of Agent Mobius, Loki is forced to help the TVA apprehend a female Variant of himself named Sylvie, but ends up falling in love with her and aids her efforts to expose the TVA's true intentions. Unlike other Disney+ Marvel shows, Loki was renewed for a second season, confirmed by its mid-credit scenes. While details are not yet known, Season 2 will presumably deal with the fallout of releasing Phase 4 antagonist Kang the Conqueror onto the multiverse, with Kang actor Jonathan Majors  -- who will also star in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania -- appearing in the season finale as Kang variant and TVA creator He Who Remains.

Currently, Marvel is continuing its Phase 4 run of live-action Disney+ shows with Moon Knight, which premiered on March 30. This will be followed up by Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk later this year, as well as a Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special in December. In terms of Star Wars content, Disney+ will drop the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi on May 27, with Ewan McGregor officially reprising his prequel trilogy role for the first time in seventeen years. Other notable Star Wars shows include the Rogue One spinoff Andor and Season 2 of the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Loki Season 2 does not yet have a release date.
