Anyone that has ever attempted to carve a pumpkin for the purposes of creating a majestic jack-o-lantern knows how frustrating the process can be. If you were feeling bad before, check out these Loki and Thanos designs in a video recently released by Marvel.

The video shows Marc Evans and Chris Soria, the founders of the Brooklyn, NY based carving company Maniac Pumpkin Carvers, whittling the God of Mischief and Mad Titan in a side-by-side time-lapse video. Their pumpkin carving company started as hobby when they were in high school, and has blossomed into a full-time job. You've seen their work before on Good Morning America, Wired, CNN, The Chew and as winner of Food Network's Halloween Wars.

Marvel's Facebook page released video showing how the pumpkins are created using chisels and blades to dig into the pumpkin. The finished results are amazing. The giant fist of Thanos fills the foreground, showing the Infinity Gauntlet, while his trademark glint shines from his eye. They appeared to have used the artwork of Mark Bagely, recreating one of the promotional covers to Avengers Assemble #7. The image of Thor's troublesome brother is menacing, showing the modern version of Loki flashing a menacing grin under his iconic helmet.
