Miss Minutes, the AI mascot of the Time Variance Authority voiced by Tara Strong, will appear in the second season of Loki.

Popverse confirmed this news after attending the panel at San Diego ComicCon for the upcoming crossover fighting game Multiversus, in which Tara Strong will provide the voice for Harley Quinn. When asked if she had recorded any new Miss Minutes material for Loki Season 2, the actress replied: “I haven’t yet, but a spoiler – she’s in it! I know that."

Miss Minutes is just one fan favorite that emerged from the successful Disney+ series, with others including Owen Wilson's Mobius M. Mobius, Sophie Di Martino's Sylvie Laufeydottir and Jonathan Majors' He Who Remains. Though the variant that Majors portrayed in the first season was killed by Sylvie in the finale, Kang the Conquerer and his other variants will surely return to the MCU. In fact, Majors' Kang will make a proper debut in next year's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and might even show up in Season 2 of Loki.

Interestingly, Syvlie's actions at the conclusion of Season 1 set the entire new phase of the MCU in motion, as the death of He Who Remains directly caused the splintering of the Sacred Timeline. "If the events of Loki never took place, if Sylvie didn’t do what she did," claimed Loki producer Richie Palmer. "[Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness] and the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home wouldn’t have been able to happen."

Filming for the series continuation began in June on location at Pinewood Studios in London, with leaked photos revealing a scene in which Loki and Mobius attend a film premiere set in 1974. Photos of Sylvie's costume surfaced as well, showing her pictured outside a McDonald's in a 70s-appropriate uniform from the restaurant. Some interesting Easter eggs have also popped up in early leaks as well, with vintage film poster nods to the Eternals' Bollywood star Kingo, played by Kumail Nanjiani, and lesser-known Marvel heroes Phone Ranger and Zaniac.

The whole cast is set to return for Season 2, with the only real changes coming in the creative department. Series creator and head writer Michael Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) will be stepping down, with staff writer Eric Martin set to replace him. The series will also see the entrance of directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, both of whom directed episodes of the recent Disney+ series Moon Knight, starring Oscar Issac.

Loki Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ in summer 2023.
